THE GIFT OF HOPE

A phone call from Mobile Santa, and a conversation with Cheryl Torres of Elijah's Retreat, and the Giflt of Hope was born.  Desiring to bless a family for an entire year connected us to 55 amazing families.  It was grueling to choose only one. In the end, we were blessed to be able to expanded our resources to two who you will get to know ALL YEAR.  

 

Let me introduce you: 

Our first was Ezekiel and his family who were nominated by all of his teachers. We were inspired not just by his hard work but also the stories of his deaf parents who have overcome very difficult odds.

Gunner was our second nomination. He has defeated all the life expectancy predictions and he and his family (pictured in pjs) cherish each day they have.

 

Having them share their life and stories in 2025 will help represent the daily challenges and bravery of each family living with a special needs child.
